We are proud to share that two members of the Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI) network – JM Serbia – Belgrade and JM Macedonia – joined forces to organize a humanitarian evening titled MEVLEM, reflecting one of JMI’s core values: solidarity. Held in Belgrade, the event was dedicated to supporting those injured in the tragic fire in Kočani, which claimed 59 lives and left over 100 people seriously injured. During the concert, €200 was raised to support medical treatment for those affected. Every donation – regardless of the amount – played a meaningful role in offering help where it is most needed. We are sincerely grateful to UK Parobrod for their logistical support, as well as to the media outlets that helped share the story of this evening. Most of all, our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who attended. Your presence sent a powerful message – to Serbia, to Macedonia, and to the world – that love and solidarity are very much alive. We hope that MEVLEM will inspire future humanitarian connections and strengthen the bonds of friendship among members of the JMI network.
